Effect of troponin I and coagulation parameters on mortality in COVID-19 patients

Objective: Our aim is to determine the levels of troponin-I and some coagulation markers (D-dimer, fibrinogen International Normalized Ratio (INR)) in coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) patients investigate effects these on mortality.
 Patients Methods: It planned as a descriptive, cross-sectional analytical study. The study was conducted by retrospectively scanning files COVID-19 who applied Inonu University Turgut Ozal Medical Center between 01.03.2020 31.12.2020. Levels cardiac troponin I parameters INR) were detected.
 Results: results total 1858 obtained. One thousand, three hundred twenty-six with only D-dimer (Group 1), 606 2), 1308 INR 3) included. Troponin significantly higher all died. 96.6% high died Group 1, 85.5% 2 77.3 % 3. 
 Conclusion: Measurements such D-dimer, can help predict clinical severity mortality patients.
